Dave has worked in healthcare for over a decade, in both the wholesale and retail sectors. And he believes he has found his permanent home at Amplify Hearing, finding the position hugely satisfying. Since joining Amplify in 2018, when the business had just 24 optical partners, all UK based, Dave has seen the business grow exponentially in 4 years. Amplify now work across a host of different channels and intercontinental territories, and the forecasted growth means the next 4 years are going to be even more exciting and rewarding for Dave, and the ever-growing Amplify team.

In his spare time, Dave enjoys keeping fit and watching football – Chelsea and Everton (a long story). Most of all, however, he loves spending time with his wife Joanna, his two boys Ellis and Rory, and his dog Delsa.

Paul has worked in the Independent Hearing Aid industry since 2007 helping Independents grow and prosper via a UK Buying Group as the Sales and Marketing Director.

Wanting to progress and hearing rumours about Amplify Hearing and the waves they were making, he decided that he wanted to be a part of something that is growing at a fast pace. Something that is and will move and change the UK hearing industry for the greater good. Since joining Amplify in 2018, Paul has made a significant impact to our growth through strategic offline and online marketing, in his roles heading up our Sales and Marketing, and more latterly as Sales and Marketing Director, before taking on the role of Business Development Director.

In Paul’s spare time he renovates houses whilst living in them. His big passion is playing football whilst the body allows and loves to spend time with his family when not knee deep in brick dust.

Dave joined Amplify in January 2021 and came to the business with a wealth of Finance experience gained across multiple sectors. He began his career as a Trainee in accounting practice and has worked as a Technical Accountant at Government Local Authority level and more recently as a Finance Director within the Housing Sector.

Dave has a passion for working within organisations that serve to make a difference to their communities so is a perfect addition to the Amplify family as we hold patient care as our number one priority.

In his spare time, Dave is kept fit by looking after his family in what is a female dominated house – as he has 3 young daughters. Dave’s other passion is football and he is a keen Evertonian, taking the opportunity to watch them whenever he can.

John graduated in 2004 with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design, and following a number of design and marketing positions, he entered the world of Audiology as a Marketing Manager, where his passion for hearing care quickly grew. John believes everybody should enjoy the best quality of life with good hearing and joined Amplify keen to share his passion and beliefs, helping the company continue to grow, whilst promoting the benefits of hearing healthcare to partners and patients alike.

John’s spare time usually involves sport or music, often with his son. This could be playing 5-a-side, watching football (Burnley), seeing his son play rugby, or attempting to play as well as his son on the drums, before choosing to go to a gig to see somebody who can play!

Nicole has over 20 years’ experience working in both optics and audiology. She started working in Optics in 1998 as a trainee assistant and then, over the years, moved up to practice manager and then into a field support role. In 2016, Nicole moved into Audiology and trained to be a Hearing Care Assistant and a Sales Support Trainer. Having worked in both health sectors, she feels that they are very similar in customer focus and making a difference to people’s lives. Nicole is passionate about what she does and believes in being able to offer a one health service, so that we can reach out and help anyone that needs support.

Nicole is mum to three boys and spends most of her weekends watching and supporting them play football. In her spare time, she likes to run to try and keep fit. She also likes to go to the cinema and theatre, most latterly seeing Frozen the musical, in the West End!

Mandy has been in optics for over 23 years, with over half of those years spent as a practice manager. She is now transferring her valuable skills and management experience over to audiology. As Audiology Buddy for the North, Mandy uses all her knowledge of running optical practices, to assist our Audiology Joint Venture Partners and Optical Partner hosts, in getting the most from the practices.

When not working, Mandy’s loves in life are her family, especially being ‘Nanny Mandy’ to her 7 grandchildren, and Manchester City FC. Though she says the latter one causes her the most stress!

Kirstie has a CIM postgrad in marketing and over 25 years’ experience in direct, digital and strategic marketing. Throughout her career, she has specialised in financial services and healthcare and she has over 13 years’ experience of marketing within audiology. Kirstie enjoys delivering business transformation and excellent patient journey experiences and has specific responsibility for our digital/online transformation in marketing. Her support, skills and experience help Amplify’s Joint Venture Partners grow, through effective marketing and convincing copywriting!

Kirstie enjoys spending time with her 3 children and walking her 2 Cocker Spaniels. She enjoys reading, travelling, gardening and DIY. She also loves dancing. mostly with her daughter, and once competed in the Blackpool Tower ballroom.

Craig has worked in Finance for 16 years, with the last 6 years being in the hearing industry. Since joining the Amplify family in 2019, Craig has brought along his wealth of knowledge and honed skills to drive forward the Finance and Business Intelligence functions of the business and provide valued support to the Audiologists and Head Office staff alike.

Whenever he finds time, Craig listens to many academic and creative podcasts and enjoys strumming on his guitar. Craig also has a passion for baking bread, refusing to use a machine, which he is generous to share with family and colleagues, much to their delight.

Ellie started her career in finance after graduating with a BSc in Business Management and she is currently studying for her AAT and aiming to become a Chartered Accountant. Ellie is embracing her work goals of improving her knowledge and becoming more involved in budgeting and financial statements. Always positive and eager to learn in the workplace, she constantly wants to throw herself into a learning situation.

Ellie enjoys trying out new places, meeting new people and trying new activities. Her main interests are going to concerts and bars with good music, enjoying a juicy burger – seeing herself as a ‘foodie’, baking, watching fantasy and sci-fi films and photography. Ellie loves to travel and immerse herself into different cultures.

Tom is a CIMA qualified accountant, with 22 years’ finance experience across multiple industries, including housing, automotive, insurance and utilities.

Tom has two boys aged 6 and 8, who take up most of his spare time. When he’s not spending time with them, he enjoys going to the gym, watching sports and a glass of red wine. But not all at the same time!

Rachel is an experienced executive PA, having worked at Manchester University. She recently joined the Amplify family and looks forward to taking on the challenge of returning to the PA role she loves, after a career break to bring up her twins, and being furloughed as an Office Manager, during the pandemic.

Rachel loves travelling around the UK with her family, in their Mazda Bongo campervan called Totoro. She also loves gardening, reading horror novels and has an interest in collecting and wearing 1940s/50s fashion and collecting vintage glassware, pottery and Tupperware.

Tim graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2019 with a degree in Sports Business Management, before becoming an Assistant Buyer at one of the UK’s Big Four Retailers. Here, he worked in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, engaging in a variety of business functions which serves him well in his current role as Audiology buddy, where collaboration and communication are essential for success. 

Tim is passionate about his role of Audiology buddy; connecting with people across the country who are dedicated to growing their business and improving the quality of life of their patients. 

In his free time, he enjoys staying active by taking his dog Frank on long walks and has recently taken up running on a regular basis. He also likes to switch off by watching movies, and socialising with friends. 

Lorna graduated from Trent University with a Masters in Marketing and Advertising Communications. She has previously worked in the FMCG industry, working at a fast pace and learning how to implement marketing in a global setting – both perfect attributes for her role at Amplify! Lorna enjoys the fast pace of her role and wants to make a difference to those in need with hearing loss.  

In her spare time, Lorna enjoys exploring Manchester city, finding nice places to grab a coffee, eat and drink. She loves spending time with friends and family, shopping, watching Eastenders and binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy.  

Joanne is all about doing things the right way, so she’s a natural fit for our values-driven culture, which she believes reflects a commitment to integrity, adaptability and trust and is a breath of fresh air!

Joanne has worked in talent acquisition for over 20 years, with some blue chip companies. From honing her skills for sourcing top talent, crafting recruitment strategies and helping shape careers, her passion for connecting the right people with the right opportunities has been at the heart of her career. 

When Joanne’s not working, she loves walking along her local beach with her dog, listening to a true crime podcast, and taking time out from her two football mad sons! 

Matt joined the Amplify family in 2021 as an established senior leader with a proven track record in managing large change operation delivery and continual process improvement. Matt brought with him a wealth of  experience in multiple heavily regulated sectors such as domestic energy with British Gas and Welsh Government. 

Outside of work, Matt is a keen petrol head with a for Australian muscle cars.
